Our Story
Born from real project experience
ChaarSuu was founded in Edmonton, Alberta -- the heart of Canada's energy and infrastructure corridor. Our team has direct experience managing data on pipeline construction projects, environmental monitoring programs, and large-scale civil works.
We've seen the pain firsthand: thousands of documents scattered across shared drives, field data trapped on clipboards, inspection reports that can't be found when the regulator arrives, and project knowledge that walks out the door every time someone leaves.
The industry spends $177 billion annually on non-productive activities caused by poor data management and miscommunication. We started ChaarSuu because we believe the construction and infrastructure sectors deserve better technology -- tools that are built for how these projects actually work, not adapted from generic enterprise software.
Our first product, geoCore, brings together document management, GIS mapping, and field data capture in a single platform. It's the tool we wished existed when we were managing projects ourselves.
